I’m what you may call a Game of Thrones geek, though I prefer Game of Thrones hunk. After watching the first season of the series last year I read the five books of the Song of Ice and Fire series. Each book is around 1,000 pages, and considering I’ve read like five books in the last five years, this was kind of a big deal. It was also kind of cool that I happened to go on a vacation to my mother’s homeland of Malta where parts of the first season were filmed, and by happenstance visited the site of the Dothraki wedding, where it’s considered a dull affair if there are less than three deaths. Now I can’t wait for the second season beginning April 1.
